Introducing Mrs. Tran!

My name is Kim TraTrann and I am a sixth grade teacher. I received a BA in English and a BA in Communication from the University of Scranton, and then went on to earn my teaching certification and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at Millersville University. I taught for several years in the Cocalico School District, before I decided to stay home with my two young children. During those child rearing years, I took many education classes to keep up with curriculum. When my girls both entered elementary school, I went back into teaching, and am very excited to now be a part of the terrific New Holland Elementary community. I am glad to have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful group of sixth graders.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my two girls, a second grader and fourth grader, my husband and my springer spaniel. As a family, we love to travel to Florida (minus Maggie, our springer spaniel) to visit our favorite vacation spot – Disney World. I love to read, write, listen to music, go to the beach and dance with my girls. I also love to watch my daughters participate in school events, sports and dance. This summer, I am looking forward to spending time at our pool.

Thank you so much for helping me feel welcome.
